Start with the application, then choose the platform
For email and collaboration, a well-configured Microsoft 365 environment is often sufficient. Microsoft Azure can be useful when a specialist application needs additional servers, specific connections or centralised delivery.
We review technical requirements, vendor approvals, existing contracts and operations together. An on-premises or hybrid solution may also be the better choice. Your workflows, availability needs and total costs guide the decision.
Use Azure where it adds value
- Centralised delivery of suitable applications and virtual servers
- Secure connections between sites and cloud resources
- Role-based administration with deliberately limited permissions
- Monitoring of health, capacity and costs
- Coordinated updates and environment documentation
Regions, data flows and access are clarified in advance. A storage location alone does not answer every data protection question. Your organisational requirements and the relevant contractual terms are included in the planning.

We plan your IT together with you, to suit your team and your organisation's daily work.
Backup is only complete with recovery
Together, we determine which data and systems need backing up and how long an outage would be acceptable. This defines backup intervals, retention and recovery targets. The selection covers both local data and cloud services.
Synchronisation and the recycle bin do not replace a complete backup strategy. We assess existing protection and add to it where your requirements go further. Recovery tests show whether the planned procedures work in practice.
If an important folder disappears tomorrow, who reports it, which version is needed and how quickly must the team regain access?
Keep costs and responsibilities clear
Cloud costs depend on the resources actually running and their usage. We size them appropriately, make recurring costs visible and agree on regular reviews. Additional capacity is justified rather than permanently provisioned just in case.
For operations, we define who checks backups, handles alerts and initiates recovery. This keeps the technical solution manageable from an organisational perspective too.
Frequently asked questions
Does our children's home need Microsoft Azure?
Not necessarily. We first assess your applications. If Microsoft 365 and existing specialist solutions meet your requirements, additional Azure resources are not automatically useful.
Are Microsoft 365 data automatically backed up sufficiently?
Microsoft services have their own protection and recovery features. We assess whether they meet your requirements in terms of retention, outage scenarios and desired recovery.
